Week 9 - Y6 Graduation Dinner and Parnell Pools

What a jam packed year we have had... First and foremost I want to THANK all PRIDE Warrior parents/whanau who have helped and supported their children this year. I wish all my year 6 a wonderful 2018: Dayton, Roman, 'Amanaki, Tyla, Falakiko, Italeigh, Douglas, Selela, Aisali and Joshua. You will be missed and hold a big part of our PRIDE Warriors together. Thanks for everything... 8 of my 10 who leave me this year. This year our beautiful BOT allowed our Y6 to head out to dinner at Happy Days in Manukau - Thanks to Pastor Bryce and Matua Marnel who attended our dinner with the remainder of our teachers and students of 2017 Y6.  Tyla and Selela  Falakiko, Italeigh and Douglas 'Amanaki, Douglas, Roman, 'Amanaki and Joshua heading out to dinner We headed to Parnell Pools yesterday. Our Fitness

Over the year we have ran, done burpees, beer crawls, mountain climbers, shuttles, learnt games and most importantly improved our health. Whaea has taught us the importance of endurance and learning to pace ourselves when the tough gets going. Winners of the PRIDE cup this week is??? PRIDE Warriors YAYAH...

All year my class have used their PRIDE values while at assembly. Each week we came back and discussed many things of what we could do better next time round to win the cup. Today was our winning day... Not just the PRIDE cup but we won Mathletics trophy for the second time running. We chose our name because we believed we are worthy of the name, we are so happy and are all looking forward to our treat on Monday...  A huge congrats to Roman for winning our Respect certificate today and to Douglas for winning the Duffy award today... TAUKE gentlemen. Thanks to Miss Heinrich for choosing the best class for week 7... PRIDE Warriors YAYAH 😎

Singing Practise for Prize Giving - Week 8, Thursday 7th December...

We are in our last days of kura for 2017. This week we have highlighted our high and low points with camp and EOTC from last week.  This week we are getting back into routine and practising our songs and karakia for our prize giving on Thursday 7th December 1.30 pm onwards. If you have any questions about this day please feel free to ask. Check out our singing practises...  Our reading homework this week is learning our songs for prize giving. Day two and we are all set again...

Thursday - Y5 EOTC - Bike riding, tennis and T ball kind of DAY...

Day 4... Bike riding with Mrs Rao, tennis with Mrs Rassool and t ball with Whaea Isabel. Then a design your own sandwich (NOM NOM) Our children are being spoilt indeed..  Year 5 begin their day - Karakia, waiata and the run down of the day...  T Ball is on... What a day  Some excellent fielding and ball skills  Showing team work, support of their peers  Lunch...
